How do I prepare my team for an upcoming on-site training?

This reference guide outlines how to prepare for training, what to expect during the sessions, and what happens afterwards.

Please review it in advance to ensure a smooth and effective training experience👌

🗓 Planning Before Training

  • Training Duration: Standard training lasts 3 days.

  • Attendance: We recommend having around 5 attendees, including 1–2 primary users. Users are strongly encouraged not to miss any sessions to guarantee a successful training.
  • Equipment Unboxing: Simply ensure the shipment has been received; no need to unbox anything. Our team will help you unpack, install, and set up the equipment on the first morning of the onsite training.

  • Presentation Space: Please provide a screen, projector, or equivalent setup for the PowerPoint presentation (will not be used at all times).
  • Software Installation: Please install the Zeiss Quality Suite and follow the steps to access the Correlate Software (free and/or trial version).

  • Patterning Materials:

For training, we will bring all the necessary materials for the patterning class. Please arrange a dedicated area for painting. Ideally, this should be a paint booth to ensure proper ventilation and safety. If a booth is not available, an alternative space can be used, provided it is well-ventilated and equipped with protective coverings (e.g., cardboard or drop cloths) to shield the surroundings.

Additionally, please let us know about any safety protocols, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) requirements, or access procedures for using a paint booth, if applicable.

Important: Online training* is required to be completed before on-site training. Please watch the YouTube series and send your instructor the passphrase by email at least a week ahead of his visit.

*Completion of this is part of the ARAMIS Level 1 Certification requisites.

🔑 Key things to communicate to Trilion for an effective training

  • Does Trilion personnel need any special permissions to access your site?

  • Does Trilion personnel need to be aware of any safety equipment or any particular training?
  • Do you allow foreign nationals? If restrictions apply, how much advance notice is required for clearance?
