John Tyson - President

John is the founder of Trilion Quality Systems and developer of laser shearography and ESPI systems for twenty years. John has been granted six patents in the field of shearography and related laser inspection methods. John obtained MIL-STD-883 approval for Optical Leak Testing, an invention for testing the hermeticity of microelectronic packaging. John obtained numerous industry approvals for shearography and the first FAA Repair Station approval for an innovative laser technique (shearography). John is the co-founder of the ASNT Laser Methods Group and authored the ASNT Certification Requirements for Holography/Shearography Inspectors (SNT-TC-1A). John assisted with the development of the Laser Acoustic Pulse (RAID) technique and the SAM system. John has obtained SBIR and Ben Franklin Fund financing for various programs. John is a regular lecturer, session chairman and publisher, with over 40 technical papers and publications. John has a secret security clearance.

Timothy Schmidt - Vice President

Tim has been developing laser inspection methods from pulsed holography & ESPI to Laser Acoustic Pulse (RAID) for 14 years. Tim is an expert in vibration studies and pulsed lasers. Tim pioneered the use of pulsed holography for vibration measurement for gas turbine pumping stations. Tim was the lead for the DARPA project for the RAID technology through Phase III. Tim is a world leader in pulsed ESPI systems and applications, as is currently developing Pulsed and HighSpeed ARAMIS equipment and applications.

Vinh Tran - Senior Engineer

Vinh was formerly a technical support engineer with Capture 3D, our sister company developing white light scanning systems. He has extensive robot and customer support experience. Vinh is based in Los Angeles, CA and supports the West Coast.
